This is the popular claypot lou shee fun place in TTDI (Taman Tun Dr. Ismail). Located at Jln Datuk Sulaiman, the stretch of shoplots of a number of restaurants. We were there for a dinner before our salsa dancing class. The place was packed for dinner as usual.
We ordered a yam basket (RM 12). Yam basket was deep fried and filled with chili, baby corn, capsicum, carrot, cashew nuts and chicken with gravy (kung po style). Personally, I felt the yam was slightly dry and it would be nicer if there's more gravy. It was decent.
Next, the sizzling beancurd (RM 10). For a slight change, we ordered a normal beancurd rather than the Japanese beancurd. Well, that was a wrong choice. Sizzlings go better with Japanese beancurd.
Lettuce with fermented beancurd (RM 12). Slightly a bit too much of fermented beancurd. Lettuce was okay.
Finally, the infamous claypot lou shee fun (RM 10). The claypot came with a generous amount of minced meat. The raw egg on top will be mixed together thoroughly.
This dish was decent.
The food here was decent. Price was reasonable. Place tend to be packed during dinner time, serving time could be slow depending on crowd.
