Madame Tussaud's Wax Musuem, New York City, NY (April 2007)

I would say a must visit place in New York, the Madame Tussauds.
Oprah Winfrey

John Travolta
Will Smith
Jodie Foster
J. Lo
Julia Roberts

Paris Hilton
The Rock
Princess Diana
Michele Kwan
Michael Jordan
Steven Spielberg

Spice Girls

On the very last day of our trip, we went to Madame Tussauds which is quite near to the place we stay in Times Square. I seen it on magazines and TVs, we had a short queue and went in right away. There's quite a lot of celebrities as well as politicians made here. There are a few wax figures, you can option to buy the pictures you took with them such as Superman and the Pirates Of Carribean. It was fun.

Dena had Egg Florentine, she loved it as well..

The food? I had Egg Copenhagen with grilled salmon, loved it.

We ate there twice! The rest I also forgot the names, but no complaints as well.

Chipotle Mexican Grill @ New York (2007)

First thing first, this was on APRIL 2007... I was there for a working trip to New York... Basically we were looking a nice lunch place... And while we were walking around... We saw...

Chipotle Mexican Grill.... We were like "Mexican?? Why not!?"

Lunch hour was packed! We were queuing up and taking out turns for the beloved Burito!!
One thing about Burito is u need it custom made!!

Look at the varieties of stuffs u can put into the Burito!!

The ladies were nice and they were teasing me... coz I didn't know what I want for my Burito...

They worked fast and they were very friendly!!

So I did manage to "pimp" my Burito!!

Check out the size of my Burito!!! Its like "Godzilla" Burito size... Sad to say I couldn't finish it again... It was just so damn "Godzilllaa!!"

Price is around 10 dollars, self service and food is excellent. If you really want to "pimp" your own Burito, this place is no regrets!

For more info, please visit their site here. They are franchise Mexican food chain now.

USA Brooklyn Diner, The Finer Diner @ New York (2007)

First thing first, this was on APRIL 2007... I was there for a working trip to New York... We reached there night time and were looking for food... good food... just one of the corners of Times Square.. we found a restaurant...

Its called USA Brooklyn Diner, The Finer Diner....

It was quite packed even though it was around 9 pm... We waited for a while and got our seats...

The service was top notched... Making sure we were doing good... We tried some prawns... It was a bit salty.. but its okay...

Salmon was good but a bit too salty to our likings... Maybe because we just had a long flight?? or New Yorkers are salty lovers?

Chicken Kiev was a funny one, it was so juicy at the moment that it was cut opened, the butter juice squirted out! We were like ..."Whoooaaa!!!"

My beef burger was huge! Its damn bloody huge!!

It came with lots of fried onions and chips as well. Like usual, I couldn't finish the food... Too huge for Asians maybe...

"The best burger in New York" - New York Magazine stated... as well as the New York Post...

The price is below US 20 per person, huge portion of food and great location in the city. Actually some might able to share a meal if you are a small eater... Remember to pay tips though...
You can go to their website here.

Foods are okay, service is excellent, price is reasonable!

Toys 'R Us, Times Square, New York City review! (2007)

T-Rex of Jurassic Park!

The biggest Toys 'R US in New York! I manage to visit this store for a short period of time. There is a ferris wheel inside the building, located at the heart of Times Square! Didn't manage to find Soundwave, Grimlock and a few Tfs but great experience!

This is really how Times Square looks like at night! The lights are amazing! This album is powered by BubbleShare - Add to my blog
Pictures with Amelia, Dena, Husni and Ching Li..
It is hard to explain how beautiful the lights were at Times Square. After our 19 hours flight from Singapore, we were basically jetlagged and tired. However, when this lights shone us on that moment, we felt unexplained energy in our body. We went for dinner and kept walking like no tomorrow. We went back to our hotel around 11.30 pm.
